How to Attend a Conference Like a Pro

I recently attended a conference where I met lots of great entrepreneurs and gathered some powerful takeaways that I will be incorporating into my #trep life. Being in the middle of all that super networking and business info led me to put together my list of How to Attend a Conference Like a Pro series, and I will be using these tips for all future conferences I attend.

Here is Tip #3:

Find Yourself a Conference Bestie.  If you come alone, befriend someone you don’t know. You can share notes if you attend different sessions. You can also introduce your conference bestie to the people you know and they can do the same for you. This creates openings for instant networking without awkward introductions.

Get Their Info. It is more important to get contact information than to give out your own. Think about it for a second …  if you give someone your business card, how can you know whether that person will ever engage with you again? But if they give you their information, then you know for certain that you have a way to reach out to them again at a later time.
