Creatives conceive designs that go beyond the common stock poses and the corporate look and feel.  There is also a steady influx of original designs.  This means there is no longer a need to be limited only to the types of images that are found on the large stock sites.

Freeimages (formerly sxc.hu) has a good variety of photos and graphic images on this site. The quality-level of the content ranges from newbie to experienced because the it comes from contributors with varying skill levels.  The majority of the content is great for most uses.

Almost all the images and graphics have perpetual, non-exclusive and unlimited rights.  It should be noted that the images are not permitted to be used as part of logos or to represent merchandise being sold. The images can be used for blogs, social media, advertisements, apps, TV, print materials and for decorative items. Even with all these rights, please check the license agreement for each image. If an artist requests a link to where you used the image or for you to give credit, please provide it.
